About
Who are we?
Fusion Film consists of us – Emma and Mattias, two best friends who have been working in the photography and film business for several years. We wanted to apply something we felt was missing in our city – a place to feel creative and connected.
Our story
Fusion Film started as a fun project. By hosting creative events in our spare time and developing rolls of film in our friends’ basements, it suddenly hit us – why not build a community and a shop where we could include all of this? A place to grow and be creative.
It was important to us that this should be somewhere where everyone would feel welcomed and seen. We wanted to integrate the collective feeling with the interest we knew we had in common – photography and film.
By doing a lot of research on the creative community in our city, we got to know you before we even opened. We knew what equipment you wanted us to have, what people you were interested in listening to at events and that you wanted to avoid waiting for your negatives when handing them in at other places.
Said and done. We decided to build our very own darkroom at the shop which made it possible to decrease waiting times for negatives.
We went on several trips across Europe to handpick the most unique vintage cameras for you. We reached out to talented and interesting people in the business, asking them to hold workshops/lectures at the shop.
This has resulted in more than a shop, more than meets the eye.
